Die Verfechter der Ahadith sind der Meinung, dass eine Sache, die vielfach (mutawatir) überliefert ist nicht falsch sein kann, weil ja eine so große Zahl an Tradenten gegeben sei, dass ein Irrtum nicht möglich wäre. Ein häufig angeführtes Beispiel ist dabei der Ritus des Gebets.

In seinem Artikel „Warum nicht Koran allein?“ ( http://tavhid.de/?p=1323 )geht der Autor der Beantwortung dieser Frage nach – ohne diese jedoch wirklich zu beantworten. Ob dies aus Unkenntnis der entsprechenden innerislamischen Strömung heraus geschieht kann nicht beantwortet werden, doch mit der Argumentation für „Koran alleine“ hat seine Auseinandersetzung allenfalls am Rande zu tun und entsprechend widmet er sich einem Argumentationsbereich der auch innerhalb dieser Strömung kritisch betrachtet wird.

Aber es sind doch dieselben Überlieferer…
Dies ist ein populäres Argument, um die Beibehaltung der Ahadith als Rechtsquelle zu rechtfertigen. Wie kann man die eine Überlieferung der Tradenten annehemen und die andere jedoch ablehnen?
Diese Argument ist jedoch absurd, da die Frage sich nicht darin erschöpft, wer etwas tradiert hat, sondern was er tradiert und welche Bedeutung dies für die Gläubigen hat. Nur weil z.B. jemand überliefert, dass Affen einen ehebrechenden Affen steinigten hat dies religionsrechtlich gesehen keinerlei Bedeutung.
1400 Jahre
Wenn Sunniten (aber auch Schiiten oder andere, die an die Relevanz der Ahadith glauben) der Meinung begegnen, dass die Ahadith keine Bedeutung hätten bzw. die meisten davon ohnehin Fälschungen seien, dann argumentieren sie manchmal damit, dass es doch vollkommen unwahrscheinlich sei, dass Gott die Menschen 1400 Jahre in Unwissenheit gelassen habe und dass Handlungen, wie z. B. das Gebet oder die Hadsch vielfach überliefert worden seien, so dass ein Irrtum ausgeschlossen sei.

„Weisheit حكمة (Hikma)“ ist ein wiederkehrendes Wort im Koran.
Wie Wir auch unter euch einen Gesandten aus eurer Mitte erstehen ließen, der euch Unsere Verse verliest und euch läutert und euch das Buch und die Weisheit lehrt und euch lehrt, was ihr nicht wußtet, (2:151)
Beziehen sich „das Buch und die Weisheit“ in diesem Vers auf zwei verschiedene Dinge? Beachten Sie, dass die Verwendung des arabischen Wortes für „und“, و (wa) ist und eher beiläufig und sparsam im Arabischen verwendet wird, während es im Englischen (wie auch im Deutschen (Anm. d. Ü.)) wesentlich mehr Gewicht hat und auf die Unterteilung zweier Dinge hindeutet (Kommata wären angemessener).
Sammlung des Koran
Sunniten glauben in aller Regel, dass der Koran vollkommen mutawatir überliefert worden sei. Dies kann man im Internet vielfach lesen:

Aisha lügt, Muhammad lügt, wer lügt am meisten?
In Muslim, Buch 4, Nummer 2127 findet sich der folgende Hadith:
Muhammad b. Qais said (to the people): Should I not narrate to you (a hadith of the Holy Prophet) on my authority and on the authority of my mother? We thought that he meant the mother who had given him birth. He (Muhammad b. Qais) then reported that it was ‚A’isha who had narrated this: Should I not narrate to you about myself and about the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him)? We said: Yes. She said: When it was my turn for Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) to spend the night with me, he turned his side, put on his mantle and took off his shoes and placed them near his feet, and spread the corner of his shawl on his bed and then lay down till he thought that I had gone to sleep. He took hold of his mantle slowly and put on the shoes slowly, and opened the door and went out and then closed it lightly. I covered my head, put on my veil and tightened my waist wrapper, and then went out following his steps till he reached Baqi‘. He stood there and he stood for a long time. He then lifted his hands three times, and then returned and I also returned. He hastened his steps and I also hastened my steps. He ran and I too ran. He came (to the house) and I also came (to the house). I, however, preceded him and I entered (the house), and as I lay down in the bed, he (the Holy Prophet) entered the (house), and said: Why is it, O ‚A’isha, that you are out of breath? I said: There is nothing. He said: Tell me or the Subtle and the Aware would inform me. I said: Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be ransom for you, and then I told him (the whole story). He said: Was it the darkness (of your shadow) that I saw in front of me? I said: Yes. He struck me on the chest which caused me pain, and then said: Did you think that Allah and His Apostle would deal unjustly with you? She said: Whatsoever the people conceal, Allah will know it. He said: Gabriel came to me when you saw me. He called me and he concealed it from you. I responded to his call, but I too concealed it from you (for he did not come to you), as you were not fully dressed. I thought that you had gone to sleep, and I did not like to awaken you, fearing that you may be frightened. He (Gabriel) said: Your Lord has commanded you to go to the inhabitants of Baqi‘ (to those lying in the graves) and beg pardon for them. I said: Messenger of Allah, how should I pray for them (How should I beg forgiveness for them)? He said: Say, Peace be upon the inhabitants of this city (graveyard) from among the Believers and the Muslims, and may Allah have mercy on those who have gone ahead of us, and those who come later on, and we shall, God willing, join you.
Der Lügner Ibrahim
In Sahih Muslim Buch 30, Nummer 5848 findet sich der folgende Hadith:
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) never told a lie but only thrice: two times for the sake of Allah (for example, his words):“ I am sick,“ and his words:“ But it was the big one amongst them which has done that“ and because of Sara (his wife). He had come in a land inhabited by haughty and cruel men along with Sara. She was very good-looking amongst the people, so he said to her: If these were to know that you are my wife they would snatch you away from me, so if they ask you tell that you are my sister and in fact you are my sister in Islam, and I do not know of any other Muslim in this land besides I and you. And when they entered that land the tyrants came to see her and said to him (the king): ‚there comes to your land a woman, whom you alone deserve to possess, so he (the kings sent someone (towards her) and she was brought and Ibrahim (peace be upon him) stood in preyer, and when she visited him (the tyrant king came) he could help but stretch his hand towards her and his hand was tied up. He said: Supplicate Allah so that He may release my hand and I will do no harm to you. She did that and the man repeated (the same highhandedness) and his hand was again tied up more tightly than on the first occasion and he said to her like that and she again did that (supplicated), but he repeated (the same highhandedness and his hands were tied up more tightly than on the previous occasion). He then again said: Supplicate your Lord so that He may set my hand free; by. @ llah I shall do no harm to you. She did and his hand was freed. Then he called the person who had brought her and said to him: You have brought to me the satan and you have not brought to me a human being, so turn them out from my land, and he gave Hajira as a gift to her. She returned (along with Hajira) and when Ibrahim (peace be upon him) saw her, he said: How have you returned? She said: With full safety (have I returned). Allah held the hand of that debauch and he gave me a maid-servant. Abu Hiaraira said: O sons of the rain of the sky, she is your mother.
Dieser Überlieferung ist zu entnehmen, dass Ibrahim drei Mal gelogen habe.
